What is Enhance My Skills™?
Enhance My Skills™ is an e-mentorship and e-coaching company that specializes in preparing teens and young adults for the marketplace. Our mission is for every young person to have access to not only information which will help them achieve success in the marketplace but also the ability to have a coach/mentor to motivate them concerning their lives. We pride ourselves on educating our teens and young adults with innovative ideas and cutting edge new industries.

Our program consists of several modules. The modules have activities so the student can practice or get an idea of how this skill may apply in the marketplace. They can blog, have access to a forum, live chat, emails and 1-on-1 on the phone. Everything is done online at the student pace therefore creating a more comfortable and familiar environment for them.

According to the Gates Foundation high school students dropped out of high school for many reasons but the two main reasons they dropped out were.
School was not relevant to what they considered was the “real world” and not one adult ever connected individually with them at any time during their school year.

We at Enhance My Skills want to possibly end drop out rates by being honest and upfront about the “real world” and having a coach available to students can drastically curtailed students dropping out and will help when guidance counselors and parents are bombarded and need the added help.

What makes this program so different from all the rest? First of all this program is done all online. The program is interactive, colorful with music and activities particularly geared for what can happen in the real world. The student or adult can do this program in the privacy of their home, library or a school lab in a group setting. The student has access to a coach/mentor through many channels; phone, teleconferencing, chat, forum, email, Twitter and Facebook. As you can see a student never has to feel an adult is not connected to them again.
